An open association for quantitative finance

NFKF was founded in 2016 to promote quantitative, research-based methods in finance. We are volunteers, run by a board with backgrounds in both industry and academia.

Purpose

Our purpose is to promote quantitative, research-based methods in finance by helping raise competence in the industry and by taking part in the public debate.

We want research and practice to talk to each other. That is why we invite speakers from both asset management and universities, and keep our events open to the financial industry, academia and students, research institutions and investors.

Board

Board members work in industry and academia alongside their board role.

From our seminars

We have hosted speakers from ADIA, AQR, DNB, the Financial Times, Janus Henderson and Norges Bank Investment Management, among others.
