The association is open to anyone with a professional interest in quantitative finance. As a member you are part of the community and can receive invitations to our events.

Who is membership for?

  • Working professionals

    You work in portfolio management, risk, analysis, data or trading in banking, insurance, funds or elsewhere in finance.

  • Researchers and academics

    You research or teach finance, statistics, economics or related fields.

  • Students

    You study finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science or physics and want to see how the methods are used in practice.

  • Others with a professional interest

    For example investors who follow the field, or people between jobs.

  2. Confirm your email address

    You receive a link by email. Once you confirm, you are a member.

Update your details or leave

No password needed. Enter your email address and we send you a link that gives access for 30 minutes. There you can change your email address, employer and affiliation, download your data or leave.

Choose "Studying and working". You can then enter both your university and your employer.

I am a PhD candidate or postdoc.

Choose "Researcher or academic staff" and enter your institution.

What happens when I graduate?

Use "Update your details" and change your affiliation to working professional. If you entered an expected graduation year, we may remind you.

What do you use my data for?

To administer your membership, send invitations if you asked for them, and plan relevant events. We do not share the member list with partners or sponsors. Read more in the privacy notice.

How do I leave?

Request a link under "Update your details" and choose "Leave". Your data is deleted immediately.
